Chengxiang

Xiaoshan District is composed of multiple sub-districts. Chengxiang Subdistrict is the pioneer and forerunner of urbanization in Xiaoshan. It covers an area of 22 square kilometers and has a total of 34 communities, including 10 transformed communities. The subdistrict has a population of nearly 200,000, with a registered population of 118,500. Chengxiang Subdistrict is located in the economic and cultural center of Xiaoshan District. It is adjacent to Beigan Subdistrict to the north, Xintang Subdistrict to the east, Shushan Subdistrict to the south, and Xingxing Subdistrict of Binjiang District to the west. National Highway 104 and Provincial Highway 03 pass through the area. Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport is located nearby, making transportation convenient. Chengxiang is a major residential area, tourist resort, and commercial trade zone in Xiaoshan. It is home to the renowned cross-lake bridge site and the Hangzhou Xianghu Tourist Resort. With its political and cultural sophistication, convenient transportation, developed economy, and beautiful environment, Chengxiang Subdistrict is the central urban area of Xiaoshan.
