Dingqiao

Dingqiao is located in the northeastern part of Hangzhou City. It serves as a vital transportation artery connecting the main urban area of Hangzhou with the semi-mountainous suburbs and the sub-urban area of Linping. It extends from Xiasha to the east, borders Banshan and Shiqiao to the west, and is adjacent to Linping to the north. It connects Jiupu and Qiaosi to the east, and Gongchen and Daguan to the south. With roads such as Shiqiao Road, Airport Road, and the Ring Road, Dingqiao provides connectivity between the city center and the inner and outer regions. It is an important area for the development of the northeastern part of Hangzhou, known for its significant location characteristics of "taking the main and launching the vice." The construction of large residential areas in Dingqiao will, to a certain extent, lead to the migration of the residential center of Hangzhou from west to east.
