ShiQiao

Shiqiao Subdistrict is located in Xiazhi District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It covers an area of 9.73 square kilometers. It governs 8 communities: Tiantangyuan, Shiqiao, Huafeng, Huazhong, Yongfeng, Yangjia, Jingrong, and Jing'an, with a total population of 95,175 people (as of 2010). The subdistrict is surrounded by closely spaced residential neighborhoods. Completed residential areas include Beijingyuan Community and Hanggang Residential Area. There are also residential areas that have started or are about to start construction, such as Tianyuan Residential Area, Dingqiao Residential Area, Yangjia Residential Area, and Zhongji Residential Area. It is estimated that when all these residential areas are completed, the total population of Shiqiao area and its surrounding areas will exceed 500,000 people. The area is vibrant and has a strong commercial atmosphere.
